As Sales, Events & Marketing Manager, your mission is to grow our presence in Berlin through new B2B revenue streams, unforgettable events, and razor-sharp local partnerships. You will take the lead in building our catering and event business, driving commercial outcomes, and ensuring every guest interaction—whether online or in-person—feels considered, cultural, and distinctly Sticks’n’Sushi.
You’ll be the driving force behind catering growth, proactive sales, local event production, and Berlin-based partnerships, while also adapting our broader brand communications and storytelling to suit your market. This is a hands-on role that blends sales focus with creative flair, rooted in hustle, hospitality, and heart.
Job responsibilities
SALES & EVENTS
- Proactively identify and pursue new B2B, catering, and event opportunities across corporate and private sectors.
- Build and manage relationships with Berlin-based business clients, concierges, planners, and local partners.
- Develop bespoke event and catering proposals, from initial brief to delivery, including costings, logistics, and staffing coordination.
- Produce monthly P&Ls and forecasts to ensure profitability and sustainable growth of all sales and events activities.
- Represent Sticks’n’Sushi at networking opportunities, industry events, and partnership forums to generate leads and amplify presence.
- Lead internal coordination across restaurants and operations teams to deliver exceptional, on-brand catering and event experiences.
- Design toolkits and templates for event execution, CRM nurturing, and lead tracking.
- Ensure clear, timely communication across stakeholders—from kitchen to client.
MARKETING
- Coordinate local campaign activities in Berlin, adapting national brand campaigns for cultural relevance in partnership with the central marketing team.
- Act as the local contact for all restaurant-facing communications, ensuring alignment across guest experience, operations, and campaigns.
- Support high-quality content creation in German across social captions, newsletters, and PR—with emphasis on localisation, tone, and timeliness.
- Lead on-the-ground coordination of activations, partnerships, and collaborations, in line with national calendar priorities.
- Provide input into local influencer outreach and lightweight content planning—under the guidance of the Global Social Media Manager.
- Gather and report local guest insights and trends to inform future marketing and sales decisions.
COMPETENCIES & PERSONALITY
- Highly organised and proactive, with strong attention to detail.
- Commercially driven with a flair for brand storytelling.
- Comfortable multitasking across strategic planning, guest comms, and hands-on event delivery.
- Able to work calmly under pressure — including evenings, weekends, and deadlines.
- Fluent in German and confident communicator in both written and spoken English.
- Collaborative mindset, with the ability to coordinate across internal departments and external partners.
Essential:
- Demonstrated experience in sales and events in the hospitality industry, marketing, communications (ideally 2+ years).
- Strong copywriting and stakeholder communication skills.
- Cultural insight in the German market and audience understanding.
- Familiarity with content scheduling tools and basic CRM or CMS systems.
- A strong personal and professional network in Berlin.
Nice to Have:
- Hospitality or F&B sector experience.
- Previous exposure to B2B, sales and event production.
- Experience with GA4, Meta Business Suite, or influencer platforms.
